A SMALL SHOOT IS A TOTAL OF 15 PEOPLE OR LESS (CAST, CREW & CLIENTS)
A LARGE SHOOT IS 16 OR MORE TOTAL PEOPLE.
ALL COMMON GRIP IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE STUDIO RENTAL AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! 15 C-stands, 12 full apple boxes + (2 halves, 2 quarters and 4 pancakes), 30 various flags (silks, solids, cutters) from 18″- 36″, 10) 8’x8′ foamcore V-flats, 23 sandbags, 12) 25′ extension cords, 1 medium boom and ladders from 6′ to 20′.
There will be a $110 Cove or Cyc Painting Charge in addition to the studio rate, if requested in advance.
All renters must do a basic clean-up, otherwise a $100 cleaning charge will be due.
Stage rentals of more than 25 people are subject to a $100 cleaning charge.
Also included is local phone, fax, wireless DSL and 110v power for still shoots.
100 Amp Bates receptacles are available for film and video shoots.
An additional power charge of $85/day will be charged on shoots using 100 amps or more.
Late charge @ $90/hour will be charged on shoots that run past midnight in addition to regular or overtime rate.
All Studio rentals are to be paid, prior to the start of the shoot in the form of a VISA, MasterCard, American Express made payable to McCaddenSpace.
Whether the Studio is rented for either a 10 hour or 12 hour day depending on the nature and the size of the shoot; that includes shooting, load-in and out, prep-time and strike. Overtime is time and half, which is time over 10 hours or 12 hours if a large video or still shoot.
The full rental amount is required as a deposit in the form of a VISA, MasterCard or American Express to secure a Studio Booking once a Hold has been confirmed. A Hold has no charges attached; it is only an option to rent. However, if the renter no longer needs the Studio, they are still obliged to call to cancel. First Holds can be refused if the renter does not respond to a book or release communication by the Studio in a timely manner.
Kill Fee/Refund Policy With A Lost Booking: If the Studio was forced to refuse another rental on the same day and lose a booking because of the Renter’s Confirmation and Booking of the Studio, the Renter shall forfeit the entire Deposit, unless that day books otherwise.
Kill Fee/Refund Policy Without A Lost Booking: If the rental time is canceled or postponed by the Renter with more than 24 hrs. notice, the Renter shall receive 100% of their deposit back. If the Rental time is canceled or postponed by the Renter with 12 -24 hrs. notice, the Renter shall receive 50% of their deposit back; less than 12 hrs. notice the Renter shall forfeit their entire deposit.
The Security deposit is for Cleaning and Damages that may occur within the premises and is Fully Refundable within 24 hours of the end of the Rental.
Proof of Liability Insurance is required at the time of rental in an amount not less than $1,000,000 property damage and $1,000,000 bodily injury. The Insurance Certificate must name McCaddenSpace and Ron Groeper as Additional Insured.
Please note that all items left behind at the Studio must be picked up promptly. Any item left after 30 days becomes property of McCaddenSpace Studio and will be either donated or disposed of at that time.
